Seems like a good price! Not a huge fan of the shade of red though.

50,000 miles is a lot to put on a car in 1 year.

I used to sell Volvos, I'm not a big fan of the XC90. It's been basically the same vehicle since 1954, if I'm not mistaken.

In all seriousness, it does have the absolute worst, least intuitive nav system of all time...you can just see it in that last picture, sitting there in the middle of the dash like a wart. You control it through a little stick and buttons on the back side of the steering wheel. It's not just the worst nav system, it's the worst piece of car tech I've ever used. It's a 2004 system that has never been updated.

Aside from that, it rides harder than you'd think, it's louder inside than you'd think, the interior feels smaller than you'd think, and it gets about a bad gas mileage as you'd think. It is, however, built like a brick shithouse and will survive nuclear wars.

Good price, but the 3.2 is under powered even in the XC70. If you are interested in it, test drive one with the 3.2 and see if you're ok with the power.

I have the same nav in my 2007 S60. To be honest, I actually kind of like it. It's completely hidden unless you need it. The back of the steering wheel controls makes sense to me. The remote on the other hand, is completely stupid.

As for using the nav, it's kind of a pain in the ass, but it's still pretty accurate (with 2007 Maps). They have updated it somewhat for 2009 or 10 - it's still rated toward the bottom. The traffic alerts are an absolute joke.

The XC90 is really outdated - I agree completely. However, aside from maybe an ML, Q7, Cayenne, or Q7, there are very few cars that feel as tankish as the XC90. It's something I'd put my children in.
